Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This includes managing schedules, handling correspondence, and organizing meetings.

  • Documentation: Maintain and update office records, ensuring all documents are filed correctly and are easily accessible.

  • Customer Service: Greet visitors, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.

  • Communication: Prepare and distribute internal communications, memos, and reports. Manage incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies to ensure smooth operations.

  • Coordination: Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

  • Event Planning: Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.

  • Support for Executives: Provide administrative support to senior executives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an office secretary or in a similar administrative role.

  • Education: High school diploma required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.

  • Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, in particular).

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Button and Hole Machine Operator

Full-time, Onsite, Monday to Saturday

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Operate the button and hole machine (e.g., Brother BE-438F) to insert buttons and create buttonholes on shirts accurately and efficiently.

  • Quality Control: Inspect finished garments to ensure buttons and holes are correctly placed and meet quality standards.

  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the button and hole machine to ensure it operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues with the machine to prevent production delays.

  • Documentation: Keep records of production output and machine maintenance activities.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of buttons and other supplies needed for the machine.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience operating a button and hole machine in a garment manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with button and hole machines (e.g., Brother BE-438F) and their operation.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in garment production.

  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.

  • Fabric Cutting: Accurately cut fabrics based on patterns and design requirements.

  • Quality Control: Inspect finished garments to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.

  • Design Consultation: Provide professional advice on fabric selection, styles, and design adjustments to clients.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of fabrics, threads, and other sewing supplies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a tailor specializing in Nigerian native wears, suits, shirts, and trousers.

  • Skills: Proficiency in sewing, pattern making, and garment fitting. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various sewing machines and tailoring tools.

  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and understand their requirements.

  • Creativity: Ability to provide creative input on designs and garment construction.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle long hours of sewing and standing.
